Hi! My name is Uno and there is a special story behind my name. I was brought to a South Texas (Kingsville) shelter when I was just a tiny kitten after being found all alone outside. I was in rough shape looking pretty scraggly with the sniffles so I kept getting passed over by adopters or rescues. One day someone came in and took everyone but me. Since I had been there for a few weeks, being left behind meant I was going on the dreaded list. The shelter folks called Purr Paws and my foster mom drove all the way to Corpus to get me. Little old me! So she named me Uno because I was the only one left and the one she drove so far to save.
I am very playful and love curling up in the bed with you at night. I'm very inquisitive and will try to see what your up to all the time. One of my quirky things to do is lay in the bathtub (when its empty of course) and get into arguments with myself. My foster mom thinks its so funny to watch! Also you will notice that one of my eyes looks different and that's because I had an eye infection while in the shelter that went untreated for too long so I some vision impairment. But no worries it does not slow me down! I'm looking for that special home with someone who will love me forever and I promise to do the same.
