Esmerelda, “Esme”, is the perfect blend of cat and kitten. She is an adult at a light 7 pounds so she is past the kitten phase but she still entertains you as she plays with her ball. She’s an interactive cat who enjoys talking to you and napping with you. She shows appreciation every day for having a loving, safe place to live. Pictures do not do justice to her unique coloration.
We believe Esme must be one of the original pet cats that were left behind when he property owners moved off. A neighbor started feeding them as the number of cats quickly to 38. When she was trapped, it was not known that she was friendly and she was taken in and fixed with everyone else, therefore, she has a clipped ear. Her "badge" of having survived outside.
